If god is everywhere then why doesnt he stops all the suffering ?? or is he so powerless ? give detail answer

I know youve heard the phrase quotGod Works In Mysterious Waysquot. Our creator, does certain things that only she knows why she did them. She causes something bad to happen because something good will come from as a result of it. For example Hurricane Katrina, made many people realize that they had A LOT to be grateful for.
